2016 Calendar:

April 2nd *Hopewell, NJ*  Visit the Princeton Doll and Toy Museum, a wonderful 5,000 sq foot museum filled with antique and collectible dolls, bears, toys,  library and sale room. April 30th *Moscow Mills, MO*  A May Day gathering for anyone who loves Tasha Tudor, her lifestyle, her art or old-fashioned ways. During this gathering we will be having herb/flowering plant exchange and a presentation of historic use of herbs. Our historic activity will be making a reproduction early 1800’s band box.  These boxes can be used to store seeds, trinkets, recipes or sewing notions, etc.  After we have exchanged plants and completed the band box, we will sit around the dining table and share scrumptious desserts!  We hope you will join us at the c. 1820 Shapley Ross House for this event!  Cost for supplies is $20 per person. May 4th  *Red Lion, PA* Tour the Family Heir-Loom Weavers. This is a rare opportunity to see a real working textile mill with vintage looms which can produce 18th and 19th century reproduction home furnishings. TTMS members Carole Kline and Julie Barley will be our hosts for the day. After the tour we will go to the nearby Lion’s Gate restaurant for lunch. May 6  *Brattleboro, VT*  The new exhibit “Seasons of Beauty: Tasha’s Love of Gardening” opens at 10am.

May 31st *Mechanicsburg, PA* Jeanette Knazek, a noted Tasha Tudor scholar, researcher, and collector will present a program which will be open to the public. Jeanette has helped prepare Tudor exhibits in Vermont and in major museums around the country and I am sure you won’t want to miss this opportunity to hear her presentation. Light refreshments will be served. Fee: TTMS meeting donation is $6. This presentation will be held at the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library 16 N.
